"Friendly, caring, professional and efficient"

I visited the hospital for a dermatology consultation. I was a few minutes early and was in the examination room before my appointment time! The doctor examined the area i was referred for and then asked if there was any thing else i was concerned about and if i wanted a full examination. No rushing me out or making me feel i was taking too much of their time. They did find a small lump and offered there an then to take it out. Within minutes i was in the procedure area being well looked after by all the nursing staff who took time to explain what would be done. The small procedure was carried out by a nurse practionier and assistant who worked carefully and efficiently and the work was done in about half an hour. I only wish i could have been equally capable as the thought of blood leaves me faint. They looked after me till i felt like walking out and then gave me coffee and biscuits, checking blood pressure before leaving. A great friendly professional service and all a credit to the NHS. When i parked, right out side i only put 2 hours on the meter, only £1.10 ! assuming it would just be a consultation. I was examined and treated and back at the car well within time.
