"Hip replacement"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I haven't had to stay in a hospital for many, many years but what an experience. I have never met such wonderful, wonderful people. Kind, sympathetic, helpful, used tact and diplomacy, patient, explained procedures, methods etc., etc. There are just not enough words to explain the help from each member of each of the different occupations. Plus the very nice company of room mates.

Just a couple of negative remarks, I like my cup of tea with my breakfast but the most important gripe was the very long painful wait for the date of the operation.

Dear Brenda

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us regarding your hip replacement.

I am sorry to note that you had a long painful wait for your operation and that you did not get a cup of tea with your breakfast.

Please be assured that I will share your comments with the team involved who will be pleased to receive such positive feedback regarding the care you received.

Kind regards.

Debbie
