"Pleased with the care I received."

My GP referred me to A&E for emergency minor surgery. The wait was quite lengthy, but triage was quick and all hospital staff were friendly, polite and helpful. I was asked to return home and call for a bed at Day Surgery next day. The bed manager was very helpful and called back as promised when he had a bed.

Things were a little late in Day Surgery, as two more urgent emergencies arrived and threw the schedule out, but all staff - anaesthetist, surgeon, nurses and porters - where all very helpful both before the procedure, and during my recovery.

All in all, a peaceful and confidence inspiring experience.
