"Funders beware: this is not a rehab"

This facility is mis-assessing patients and accepting patients who are obviously not ready for rehabilitation. They are stuck with such patients as other facilities refuse to accept them. This year one patient was 2-1/1-1 levels for over 3 months (during which time she physically assaulted staff and other patients and did £1000s worth of damage to property with police having to attend numerous times). Another was on 2-1 levels for 4 months before finally being moved. Another has now ben on 1-1 for nearly 4 months. Patients with better behaviour are neglected as staff are constantly has to deal with "inicidents" with the same few patients. Two of the RMNs treat patients who are repeatedly physically or verbally aggressive with warmth and kindness, but those who are most able to control themselves (and frankly far better candidates for rehabilitation) with constant criticism and a total lack of empathy.
