"Knee replacement"

About: Friarage Hospital Site / General medicine

I had a knee replacement in April and thought I had sent an email but hadn't.i wanted to say that my stay in the friarage was perfect!! The staff were excellent as was the food. I was under the care of my consultant and their staff were excellent. I was very nervous when I came in but was put at ease by everyone concerned and I would never be frightened again. Everyone from nursing staff thro to cleaners deserve a pat on the back. Thank you so much for making my stay there a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Sorry about the delay in sending this .i stayed in gara ward. Once again thanks to all concerned.

Good morning

Thank you for your kind comments left on the NHS Choices Website expressing gratitude for the care and treatment recently afforded to you on Gara Ward at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

It is always pleasing to receive a message of thanks and I very much appreciate you taking the time to contact the Trust.

I will ensure your kind comments are passed to Senior Managers for the relevant area, so the members of staff concerned are made aware of the positive feedback received from you.

It may interest you to know the Trust welcomes nominations for the annual ‘Nightingale Awards’ which, once a year, recognises the important contribution nurses and midwives make to patients and their families on a day-to-day basis.
