The receptionists are very rude and loud in Sheppey Sexual Health Clinic. This does not help in a sensitive situation. You can actually hear them talking about results and people who have come in. On a Friday that I was there two of them where doing what sounded like a pub quiz with high pitched laughter whilst the other receptionists seemed a bit annoyed with it. Professions they are not. The nurse however was lovely and apologised fir the high jinks.

We are very sorry that you had a poor experience and please be assured that our Sexual Health Service takes confidentiality very seriously, All staff are expected to behave in a professional manner and I am pleased to learn that the nurse was polite and apologised to you at the time. Your comments have also been discussed with staff at a joint team meeting to re-enforce the need to speak quietly in reception areas and to behave in an appropriate and respectful manner at all times.
