I am from South Wales and was referred to the QEHB for specialist advice & treatment.
I was seen by a Consultant Maxillofacial
Surgeon who is a true professional - I was treated with the utmost of respect and was listened to with a list of all of my history and problems going forward.
I had many months of appointments at the hospital and was finally admitted for my 5th TMJ surgery (other operations had been performed nearer to my home in South Wales) with my surgeon and their team undertaking to put in a new jaw joint in May of 2015, I had a few days stay at the hospital before discharge and several months of appointments, scans etc after.
Unfortunately for me, I am still in considerable pain, however,
I am still under the great care of my consultant who is trying to get to the bottom of my problems and hopefully a cure can be found.
I would travel to the ends of the earth if it meant being seen by this wonderful person.
I feel totally safe in their hands, and I have one hundred per cent confidence in what they do -- thank you
