I attended the breast care team on an urgent referrral in April 2014.

I unfortunately found out within 2 hours I had breast cancer, although a distressing time the team that work at Hartlepool were/are fantastic.

I had a mastectomy in November, the after care from the Nurses was superb.

I am now clear of cancer & awaiting reconstruction in the new year.

From the receptionist to the surgeons all have given me a fantastic professional service and I will always be grateful for the care I received.
