Recently, I had a carpel tunnel decompression operation. Dr Peravali and his team were excellent and whilst I am still recovering, I am sure the operation was successful.
However, the operation took many months to arrange due to exceptionally poor admin. procedures. This included wasted appointments because the secretary (or whoever is responsible) did not check that results had been received. On one occasion I arrived at hospital and my appointment had been cancelled without my knowledge. The reception staff at the Hartshead building are in my opinion the most unhelpful staff and seem to be unwilling to do their job.
"Happy with operation, but not with appointments admin."
