"Very poorly mum"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

My mum got rushed into the hospital last weds and clearly is getting worse although the doctors don't seem to agree on why, and a specialist ordered a chest scan/X-ray urgently yesterday morning and my mum is worsening and still hasn't had the scan , I have been told it's because they only have one in the whole hospital , extremely worried and my mum is very I'll and distressed!

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We do appreciate how worried you are about your mum's care and would ask you to discuss those concerns with the senior staff caring for your mum. Whilst we would hope that your mum has had her scan by now, if that is not the case, or if you have any further concerns, can we ask you to please contact our PALS team on 01772 523514, who will be pleased to look into the situation and try to help.
