I arrived on the ACU unit after being admitted by the urgent care centre. I had to wait 2 hours before i arrived on this ward as a dr was not available to see me but already being told i had suspected kidney stones and arriving at the urgent care centre at 7pm it was now 10pm and my pain thresh hold was now getting nail biting. I tried on many occasions to ask for pain medication and finally at midnight i was offered a paracetamol after advising diclafenic had been given to me at 9pm and not worked thats why i was here for pain control. Off i went to ACU i was dumped by a bed in the dark with the sheets on the table left to make my own bed and made to wait till 4am for pain medication. Cut a long story short i had a surgery that has left me in no end off pain, a catheter fitted incorrectly that caused me to urinate myself over my clothes infront of my consult and was told not to cry because its silly to cry I'm 34 1 don't expect to be peeing myself at that age or be left 3 days in an adult nappie i was given tramadol for a week when i have epilepsy.
This is not the half of what went on they are running a mock staff do not turn up for shifts men sharing female wards and showers it's disgusting and someone needs to deal with this hospital
