What I liked My father was a patient on the Stroke ward for one week in August. All the staff involved in his care treated him and us with the highest degree of concern and respect. Nothing seemd to be too much trouble for them. They cared for him extremly well and he was kept spotlessly clean and tidy. At every visiting it was evident to us that the staff had been attending to his every need, including feeding and drinking. They took the time get to know my dad as a person and kept us informed of his condition. The staff worked well as a team. When he died after a week on the ward, they showed us a great deal of kindness and ,even in death, treated my Dad with respect and tenderness.
