"Overall Excellent Care by CUH"

I visited the hospital for an early pregnancy scan and was unexpectedly admitted for urgent surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. This news came as a shock and I was told I really needed to have surgery as soon as possible before my condition became life threatening. The EPU medical team ensured that I was taken to surgery very quickly and made sure that I was operated on that same day. My after care in Queens 1 Ward was excellent by all staff involved. I was treated with dignity and respect and all my needs and requirements were met by the hospital team. The treatment I received must be recognised and I felt compelled to let NHS Choices know that I feel so very thankful for what the staff have done to help me. My operation was a success and I hope to have a family in the near future when the time is right. Please accept my heart felt gratitude and thank you for assisting me with my medical needs. I too work within the NHS and will tell my colleagues how professionally I was treated by Croydon University Hospital.
