Was sent to the X-Ray dept from my GP and arrived at 10am today to be told I would have a half hours wait. Sat there until I was called upon 55 minutes later and herded along with others to the XRay area. Young girl called my name and offered me a gown and told me to strip my top half off,, I said that I had no metal upon my persons but she still insisted I did as she asked. Anyway I reluctantly did and was in such a state as how to do up this so called Modesty gown which isn't as it doesn't tie up where you want it to! I put my coat over it as I would have all my back showing off. Wasn't too long before she came and got me and did the X-Ray and said to contact my GP in two weeks for results. All in all not too bad apart from the gowns issued.. surely by now in this day and age they could come up with a better ,more practical and also a gown that can be done up so we don't show all our bits off to the others awaiting their turn. And surely if a lady hasn't any metal bits upon her clothing she should be allowed to go clothed and not undress. The staff could be a bit more people friendly as well.
