I was rushed into James Padget on Saturday 7th Feb 2014 with life threatening illness. I have not been in a hospital since the birth of my son over 45 years ago. From the moment of admittance to my discharge several days later, I have nothing but the highest praise for all the doctors, nurses and all staff for the fantastic treatment, dignity and reassurance from all involved in my care. One reads many negative stories in the papers, especially about the lack of care for the elderly. I was very afraid that I might fall ill and have to be admitted to hospital, well I am elderly but mentally very astute and I witnessed the most compassionate care given to the elderly both on oad and ward 15. well done James Padget Hospital for renewing my faith in hospitals and to all your wonderful caring and compassionate staff my deepest thanks for caring for me and nursing me better
