"65yr old toncillectomy"

About: Cumberland Infirmary

had a very short wait time to go in for toncils out. Any info I got for after care was mostly off the internet. Was told to expect a bit of pain but the pain i was getting the pain killers were not even reaching so went to the doctor and said i was very swollen and gave me a course of antibiotics. I started coughing up blood that night and was taken to a&e by ambulance and spent another night in hospital. (i will review A&E on their page). Beech wards looked after me well. I think one of the problems with having toncils out is you dont know what to expect and you dont know how long the healing process is.
