"Awful awful awful"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

Was transferred here as other hospital full - when I arrived I had prepared because of bleeding to have a c section early at 30 weeks. Even though I was bleeding & had contractions I was not seen for 10 hours. When I eventually was babies heartrate had dropped so low it was emergency buzzers & everyone running. I asked for pain relief on 5 occasions - in fact begged & was it old yes then nobody would come back. The midwife informed me that they were seriously understaffed - to a dangerous level. I discharged myself as I felt that unsafe in their care - I will never return here & don't recommend anyone does - for the mum and baby's own safety.
