In mid-July at around 7 am I had severe pain in my chest and was sweating. My wife dialled 999 and was given info about giving me an asprin.
Within 5 minutes an ambulance was at the door, and 2 men, one called John West, were helping me. I was hooked up to a machine, diagnosed and given medication for the pain. I was then taken to the Jubilee hospital in Glasgow within 1 and a half hours.
The treatment I had was wonderful in the ambulance and I felt very cared for. I think the care and speed it was done have enabled me to recover quickly as I have. Well done John West and driver.
