After waiting 6 weeks for an assessment. On 22 July 2014 , I had a Lower Limb MCAS assessment which was carried out satisfactorily by Senior II Physiotherapist. The conclusion of the assessment was that I would have to wait 8 weeks to see a physiotherapist for treatment and exercise plan. This was despite the fact that I had a pain threshold of 8 on scale 0-10. I have now been waiting nearly 6 weeks for an appointment and treatment and I find this both appalling and distressing and the service provided by this area NOT fit for purpose. I am very unhappy that I was not even given a exercise plan to assist with the pain and to aid my fitness.
