"Uncaring, no thought for the patient."

About: Stafford Hospital

My partner attended an outpatient appointment after previously being told by the same consultant this follow up appointment was to discuss treatment options for a pre cancer condition. Instead she had a 6mm punch hole biopsy with no anaesthetic and only then was one applied to stitch her up. She was in agony, and the nurses said they would write with the results. The consultant disappeared and no mention of treatment options and she only knew about the biopsy when he requested the equipment. She has not slept properly since and is worried sick. Disgraceful, uncaring behaviour. Certainly staff have not heard of the 6 Cs.
