"On Sunday 5th January 2014 I went to the walk in..."

About: Charing Cross Hospital

On Sunday 5th January 2014 I went to the walk in centre suffering from severe pain in my kidney region. I was seen by the triage staff within 20 minutes although the waiting area was quite busy. I then waited for about 90 minutes to be seen by a doctor who greeted me by my first name and then for the next 15 minutes showed great care and concern for my situation, explaining possible diagnoses to me. After taking blood samples he asked me to return in about 3hours to discuss the results. It turned out that I had kidney stones and a following day out patient consultants appointment was made. I cannot thank the doctor and the rest of the medical and reception staff enough for all their care and concern. Thanks NHS
