We have just returned home after my wife gave birth by emergency caesarean on Thursday morning. Neither of us can express what an excellent level of care and professionalism we received during these past few days. From the surgical team, to the midwives, to the doctors and the HCA's everyone has been superb. In a time when lots of people are tearing strips off the NHS, the service we received was surely as good as anywhere else in the world. Well done York Hospital and thanks to everyone, especially the team on G2 and Labour Ward. You were simply outstanding.
