"First-class care on Badsley Moor Lane unit"

After suffering with breathing problems, I was admitted to the Badsley Moor Lane unit at the Rotherham District General hospital last month. The care I received there was first-class. I was given my own room with washing facilities and staff kept checking up on me to see that I had taken my medication at the right time and that I was ok. Help was always there if needed.

It was discovered that I had Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and so I was given medication and breathing exercises and was placed on a programme to help me stop smoking. Within 4 days I felt so much better.

It is a brilliant idea to have a unit set up to specialise in respiratory problems. I would like to thank all staff on the unit.
