I was a patient on the day case unit on 03/03/14,listed for a cholecystectomy. The surgery went ahead very smoothly and with the minimum of fuss. The staff were attentive, competent and friendly. The nurse who looked after me put me at my ease and is a credit to her uniform. All the staff I met were friendly and I would like to thank my anaesthetist ( the Coronation St fan) for allaying any worries I had. I had previously attended CDH for an ultrasound and a pre operative assessment. On both occasions the staff were pleasant and professional. The service I have received was first class and I would recommend this hospital to anyone and everyone. Finally, I must mention my surgeon and his team. His skills have put an end to a lengthy period of pain and suffering for which I will always be extremely grateful Thanks again, Ilona Fashioni
