"GP - surgical observation unit - follow up scan"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Surgical Observation Unit

(as a service user),

After being reffered by my GP to the surgicial observation unit for suspected gallstones, i was seen promptly and treated with care and respect and informed imediately of my results and reffered for a scan the next day.  The staff in the surgical observation unit were amazing, particulary tracey and Marie as well as the Dr who treated me.   Despite the current pressures facing the NHS i had excellent care, i cannot thank the nurses enough for advocating for myself and other patients.
