When our son was 9 months old we spent a number of weeks on Borthwick ward following time in intensive care.
The entire team were amazing with him and we can't thank them all enough. From the Drs and nurses to the play therapist, physio and occupational therapy, everyone was great not just with our son but with us too.
He was looked after so well and spoiled with attention and especially loved his early morning parties with the night shift team.
The respect and care that the nursing team show towards all of their patients is incredible.
A children's ward is not somewhere you ever hope to find yourself but the team at Borthwick made a horrible situation a little bit brighter.
