"A wonderful drop in service"

About: East Kilbride Locality Support Service / Treatment Room (East Kilbride)

(as the patient),

This is a wonderful drop in service at Hunter Health Centre. The staff were so very understanding when I asked if they could add a cancer test on today. The girl took the blood test; then gave me clear instructions to contact my GP and request the test be added to their system in order that it could be processed. Then she phoned me to inform me that the test had been sent. I can’t thank her enough. I feel cared for and relieved my GP will have the results very soon. Why oh why is our health service denigrated? I have only ever, had positive and caring experiences.

Good afternoon Smiler67,

Many thanks for taking the time to provide feedback on your experience with the drop in service for bloods at Hunter Health Centre.

I am pleased to hear you had such a positive experience and the staff were able to assist with the additional blood tests. I will share your kind words with the staff which I'm sure they will be delighted with. We have a very caring, hard working team and it's lovely to share with them the recognition they deserve.

Best wishes,

Lynn
