"Day care patient"

About: Causeway Hospital / Accident & Emergency Causeway Hospital / Acute Ambulatory Hub Causeway Hospital / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I was here in Bushmills for 2 months visiting from Kent in England,my poorly daughter who lives in NI.

While I was here I got bad dizziness, headaches and sickness on more than one occasion!

Not having a doctor here I rang out of hours and was told to go to causeway hospital, I was there for 10 minutes and was seen by a amazing caring nurse who took time and asked lots of questions. She sent me to A&E where again I was seen within 15 mins, I had a blood test and wonderful care, sent home with tablets.

After talking them for 3 days I felt no better so they said to go back to A&E was seen straight away, bloods done again a ECG.

Was taken upstairs to AAI  ward where again thoroughly checked over by a doctor, was put on different meds, had to have a injection for 5 trips, all in all what amazing, caring staff I had the pleasure to meet. I left feeling that they cared and they loved their jobs getting people well.
