About a year ago now,I was admitted to ward 17 for tests and such, due to breathing difficulties...my writing here is not about myself but my treatment in the ward.
I honestly cannot say a bad word about my time spent on this ward the dedication to patients was brilliant, too often people leave bad reviews like the "the food was crap" really if that all you can find to complain about, the main thing is you are there to be treated for your illness, its not an invitation to "bake off" or whatever. I thought the food was alright, but thats not why I was there.
I see complaints about this nurse did this or that...do you never have days that no matter how hard you try, things just naturally don't go your way.
This happens to nurses as well!
No sorry I am totally grateful for the care I was given, I would like a particular mention to one of the nightshift nurses (Neive) I think her name was, nothing was too much trouble for this nurse and she was a credit to the ward.
Anyway I have said what I want to say, I went in to the ward and they went all in to help me, they did what they are trained to do and they did it with kindness and respect to the patients, so ward 17 has got my backing and I would have no hesitation in future trusting them with my healthcare
"They went all in to help me"
