I got a cancellation to get my complex full hip major surgery at the Queen Elizabeth, Govan, Glasgow.
At the admission suite I found the staff very helpful, efficient and looked after me well.
Mr Meek, my surgeon, was very professional, kind and explained everything about my surgery, he was amazing.
On waking up at Recovery, the staff were very friendly, professional and very attentive.
I was then moved to ward 10A, the staff -  from cleaners to nurses - were amazing, I can only remember a few names, Christianna and Chinyere but all staff were brilliant, they all worked very hard and made my stay and recovery so well. They all do an amazing top class job.
The physios and OT gave me an amazing support and guidance to get on the right step for a successful recovery.
The whole team in the theatre and pre-theatre were amazing, they put me at ease and always reassured me, they were wonderful.
All the staff do an amazing job, their skills, their professionalism, kindness and friendliness, support made my hospital stay very comfortable and guided me a very successful journey to recovery.
