"They are absolute angels"

My brother has been in the care of the staff at Strathclyde ward for 3 months due to terminal mouth cancer.

I cannot begin to express how caring the staff have been. Katherine and her team cared for my brother with compassion and dignity. All of the staff knew him so well. Jennifer, Lucy, Marion, Ruth sorry there are others are a credit to this ward. And the male nurse who looked after my brother can't remember his name. Nothing was too much trouble. I have to mention Dr Falconer. I never met her but when talking on the phone she was very compassionate and caring re my brother's needs.   

There was talk of moving my brother to a hospice but in the end he passed surrounded by staff who cared about him and knew him well.  

From support workers to nurses I cannot praise them enough. They are absolute angels.  

I want to say thank you to these amazing people.  They are a credit to the NHS.
