"Not good aftercare"

About: Omagh Primary Care Complex / Podiatry

(as the patient),

After waiting over 16 months for an appointment I finally was seen by the podiatry department at the hospital, where I was told I was flatfooted and given insoles - they did not help one bit and I struggled to walk due to pain.

I asked if they could give me an x-ray but was told no as it would not show anything. The member of staff on reception was quite rude and dismissive.

I spoke with my own GP as I was in a lot of pain and he arranged an x-ray for me which showed I had a lump on my Achilles and he referred me for physiotherapy where I was given a boot to wear.  This did help but it was a little on the large side for me so a smaller one was put on order.

I waited and waited for it to arrive but it still hasn't, I rang the podiatry department where once again the member of staff I spoke to was rude, did not know about the order, could not answer my questions.

I have now been informed that the doctor who needs to see me and authorise the new boot is off sick and no ones knows when they will be back,
