"Amazing support"

About: NHS 24 / Breathing Space (Phoneline)

(as a service user),

I would like to say a very special thank you to the incredible staff at Breathing Space. At a difficult time when others services failed to provide support, breathing space has been my lifeline. They are patient, professional and listen to you but most importantly they treat you like a human being. When I call I am frequently upset or confused or feeling hopeless and then we talk and by the time I come off the phone I feel I can go on again. I don't know all their names but I thank them anyway and a wee special thank you to Lisa who spoke to me this time and though initially I felt quite hopeless by the end she made me laugh. Special people work for this service, bless you all my lifeline in times of trouble.
