Daughter started getting tests because the school nurse had noted she was a lot smaller than other children her age. She was really nervous before the blood tests but Jen and Kirstie were fantastic!
They had lots of distraction techniques, made her feel really special and took excellent care of her, always explaining everything that was happening to her and and answering all our questions.
Now she gets daily Growth Hormone injections every night before bed - she says she doesn’t feel them at all! She was scared about the first one but then realised it was okay after Kirstie taught Mum how to do everything perfectly!
She is very proud of herself (rightly so) and reminds Mum which leg should be getting the injection each night.
"They made her feel special and took excellent care of her"
