Today was our little girl’s final day in Ward 3B at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Glasgow. I’ve already shared a review of our previous care, but wanted to add how friendly and welcoming the environment was today—several staff really went out of their way.
Special thanks to Matilda, the domestic, and Sarah, the healthcare worker, who took time to play peekaboo and look at toys with our daughter. The man organising meals was kind and gentle, making sure every child was catered for and smiling.
And Ellie, the nurse, was so friendly and skilled that our daughter didn’t cry while getting a sore dressing changed, and a great teacher for her student. She even gave Iggle Piggle and Bingo matching bandages!
Thank you all, the warm atmosphere on the ward is truly appreciated.
