"Pelvic physio"

About: Adamson Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I received wonderful treatment from the NHS pelvic physiotherapy team at the Adamson in Cupar, Fife.

Lindsey gave me a range of tailored exercises to do to increase my pelvic floor strength, help with a mild prolapse and stop issues with incontinence I'd been having since the birth of my second child. Over several months she helped me gradually build strength and see results, which has been very motivating and has helped me feel much happier and more confident in my day-to-day life.

Lindsey has always been professional, helpful and friendly in our monthly sessions and I would hope that any woman faced with similar issues could receive amazing, personalised health care like I have done.

Dear Epsie,

I am the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy manager and am so pleased to hear about your good experience at Adamson Hospital. I will pass your kind comments about Lindsay directly to her so that she is aware of how her manner, professionalism and knowledge has made you feel. Your feedback is not only helpful to Lindsay and me but also to others who may be hesitant about asking for help with pelvic floor issues such as prolapse and incontinence. Your comments may well inspire others to take the first step towards treatment. Thank you and good luck with your ongoing rehabilitation.
