(as a service user),

Husband had injury to back  and GP called ambulance as he was unable to move to get into our car to go to A&E . Husband was very worried how they would get him from house to ambulance as was in a lot of pain with slightest movement.

Michelle and Graham came and used their excellent communication skills making husband feel confident they would managed with as little discomfort to him which they did again doing their great professional methods to get him into ambulance to Hairmyres  where he was treated by the  fantastic medical staff and admitted overnight .

Next day the physiotherapists came got him mobile and organized another ambulance the SAS team Chris and his colleague again brought him into house got him settled lovely friendly, team doing a great job .

So thanks to all the Ambulance teams, A&E,and receiving ward for making my husband very well looked after and follow up has been Community Physiotherapist Karen from Camglen, her excellent well informed professional coming now to house has given  exercises that  have definately  helped  him regain his mobility .

Our 🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 NHS is the best and we all need to appreciate the services we get stop moaning about waiting  if waiting that means no as serious as patient being seen .  Do what the medical experts tell you and you reap the benefits of regaining your health .

Dear MagsC,

Thank you very much for taking the time to give your feedback on the care your husband has received from the ambulance service and the acute hospital ward staff, as well as our physiotherapy team at ICST Camglen.

It's brilliant to hear that our Karen's input is helping your husband to regain his mobility after what must have been a very difficult time following a back injury, including a hospital admission.

I will make sure that your lovely feedback is passed to Karen and the rest of the physiotherapy team here at ICST Camglen, they will be very happy to hear it.

Best wishes to your husband and to you, thank you again for your feedback.
