"Every single member of staff we’ve encountered has been amazing"

About: NHS 24 / NHS 24 (111 service) Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

My teenage son had an accident at home and injured his foot. After a call to NHS24 and a video consultation with a nurse, we were referred to the Minor Injury Clinic at the RAH, Paisley.

My son was cared for and treated by a lovely nurse called Michelle. Michelle could not have been nicer, she put my son at ease and treated him with such kindness…and a laugh or two along the way!

He was especially delighted to be able to see the X-ray of his foot. I was given clear and accurate information about his injury and how to care for him at home, which gave me peace of mind, as his mum.

Every single member of NHS staff we’ve encountered over the past few days has been amazing. Thank you to everyone we spoke to and met in person for being there, especially Michelle. We very much appreciate your help.

Dear PorryP

Thanks so much for your kind recognition of all involved in your Son's care.

I'll make sure Michelle at our RAH Minor Injuries Unit sees your post and on her behalf thank you once again.

Best wishes

Gerry
