My 4-year-old daughter recently fractured her elbow. We went to A&E, she had an x-ray and was seen by the doctor and told that she would need to stay in Bramble ward as it was late and they wanted to operate on her in the morning.
She had the operation, which went well, then she was seen for follow up in the fracture clinic three times. She has now been discharged as the doctor is happy with the way she is progressing.
I just wanted to say that every single person from A&E reception, the doctors, nurses, radiology, theatre, recovery, bramble ward and the fracture clinic were all so very kind, helpful and reassuring.
There was hardly any waiting around (which we wouldn't have minded of course). The fact that everyone was still so helpful and kind when it was 2.30am is beyond me. If I had the ability to give you all a pay rise I would!
Thank you everyone
