I had great care and treatment for my op in late June. It was the same day Admissions ward at the Royal Infirmary Glasgow. I was operated on a hot and sticky Friday afternoon.
My first meeting was with the most wonderful anaesthetist who was so caring, listening so sympathetically to all my anxious needs and worries. She resolved them all for me and was so soothing in her caring but professional manner. 8 hours later or so after a long hard shift she was still the lovely smiling anaesthetists id met at that morning.
She kept her promise and looked after me so well during the op. Im just gutted her name escapes me. Please pass on my utmost thanks and gratitude.
However, all the reception staff, the nurses / student nurses, doctors/ trainers doctors were all wonderful on the day and so kind and caring to me. I am so grateful to you all.
Lastly to Dr Wong and her secretary Laura for the great care and support given to me. They spent time with me explaining things and I appreciated all their help and time.
Thank you to everyone of you and many apologies for not naming you. The only names I remember were Jacqui( lovely NZ accent), lorna and Theresa.
"My utmost thanks and gratitude"
