"Terrible practice"

About: Wellington Way Health Centre

I went to A&E due to an infection in my leg and got prescribed antibiotics treatment

I contacted the Practice as the infection persisted after one week, and they have just extended the prescription over phone without ay further check ups in person.

I contacted them again to confirm follow up treatment/guidance on how to treat the open wound as the skin was very irritated and I was in severe pain , and despite providing pictures multiple times it took multiple chasers to get a reply and the earliest appointment after a week.

the difficulty on getting a F2F appointment, absence of follow up, poor communication and overall lack of care for the patient is appalling and disappointing

Dear Daniel

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to the practice about your recent communication. My name is Debbie Russell and I am the practice manager, I am very sorry that you have had a poor experience, unfortunately I cannot review your consults as I do not have enough details. Please do feel free to contact either myself or my deputy Ashraf via reception and we can look into what happened. We use all feedback to make improvements in the practice so we appreciate you taking the time to post this feedback.

Debbie Russell

Practice Manager
