"Have received no feedback"

About: Bideford Hospital Castle Gardens Surgery

(as a service user),

Had a chest x-ray at Bideford hospital, but have received  no feedback and there is no record of my visit.

Would like some feedback from the doctor who ordered the chest x-ray.

I am a Diagnostic Radiographer with many years experience of working, and imaging patients, in all areas of the Radiology department. I am also responsible for the governance in Radiology and so make sure that we are compliant with the many ionising radiation regulations that dictate what we can and can't do in radiology, keep the patients and staff safe and ensure we are practicing safely. I also deal with our policies and procedures and oversee compliments, complaints and quality.

Dear Windy75,

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you have not yet received feedback or the results of your Chest X-ray. If your Chest x-ray was requested by your GP then that's who the results will go back to and you should contact them; it usually takes about a week for the image to be reviewed, a clinical report made and the results to get sent back to GPs, sometimes a little longer during busy periods.
