Was transferred to the Golden Jubilee after a few weeks in my local hospital. I originally thought I was coming for a small procedure then home. After further tests I found out I needed a triple bypass.
This came as a shock but the consultant, Dr Birla, and the nurses from 2 East quickly put my mind at ease. They all provided outstanding care and comfort on the lead up to my operation.
After the bypass I arrived in ICU 1 and again received outstanding care. I had a bit of a set back the next night but Viji the nurse kept me calm and her reassurance and compassion made a scary time a lot easier.
Also special mention to Andy, Adam and the young nurse who is expecting who all provided outstanding care.
I was then transferred to 3 East and again every staff member was kind and welcoming. My stay was again extended after me needing a pacemaker but the staff thoroughly explained everything and I knew I was in safe hands.
Each and every staff member has looked after me very well and can't thank them enough for their kindness and compassion during a scary time.
The care I received in the 3 weeks I was in The Golden Jubilee was simply outstanding.
