My Partner was diagnosed with ADHD and Autism a few years back. The mental health nurse referred her to a social Prescriber and this is when we met Jeni.
My partner is a very anxious person, but Jeni managed to put my partner at ease.
Jeni offered exceptional support and my partner was able to put her trust in someone (this doesn't happen often). Although Jeni was there for my partner, she also ended up being there for me, listening and taking my concerns into consideration, without taking any support away from my partner. Jeni went above and beyond for us a lot. You don't often find that.
My partner was going through a hard time as not only dealing with the diagnosis and finding herself, her landlord decided it was time to upgrade the flat she was living in as a long term tenant, and my partner ended up losing her flat. Without going into detail, landlord lied, put her through so much stress and was out her house for approx. 10 months and fighting her rights before she gave up and handed back the keys. We didn't know who to contact to help.
Jeni went above and beyond and contacted different people for support for us. This helped both my partner and me a lot as I am also my partner's carer.
Without Jeni we would have been lost and have been very grateful for Jeni's support. If we could have kept Jeni on a long time basis this would have been great but we know this is not something that can happen.
