"Broken wrist"

I had an accident about 5pm on Wed last week and broke my wrist and damaged my face. I can only praise the NHS service for everything that followed. Paramedic car was with me within 5 minutes of the 999 call, followed by the ambulance and they treated me and got through the traffic jam.. I was quickly and efficiently seen in A&E and over approx. 4 hours had 3 separate visits to Xray, 2 manipulations to align the bones, two casts and my face cleaned and seen to. I attended Fracture clinic the next morning when advised I needed surgery to give the best possible alignment and I returned Friday for the procedure, being discharged Sat morning. My sincere thanks to everyone who gave sympathy support and treatment over those four days .
