"Kindness and respect"

About: Kings Cross Health and Community Care Centre / X-rays and Scans

(as a service user),

I visited the X-Ray department today for some tests on my knee and hands. The staff were awesome. The receptionist took me straight through and handed me a gown to change into. She had lined a load of gowns up on a radiator in order that they were warm for people who were visiting the unit on such a cold day. This for me is the definition of kindness and made my day. These lassies have a genuine need to care for others and look for small ways to make it happen. The radiographer was equally friendly and professional and made me feel valued and well taken care of. Our NHS is amazing - fight for it, support it, and above all else, cherish these angels that walk the corridors of our hospitals. Thank you, ladies, for all your kindness today.

Dear Micly,

My name is Margaret, one of the lead Radiographers in Radiology.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us us know of your experience in Kings Cross when getting x-rays done. The team work hard to provide the care that you describe, and we are delighted this is reflected in your feedback. I will let the Kings Cross team know of your thanks.

I hope the outcome of your x-rays is a positive one, and you have a swift recovery to full health.

many thanks again, Mgt
