I visited the X-Ray department today for some tests on my knee and hands. The staff were awesome. The receptionist took me straight through and handed me a gown to change into. She had lined a load of gowns up on a radiator in order that they were warm for people who were visiting the unit on such a cold day. This for me is the definition of kindness and made my day. These lassies have a genuine need to care for others and look for small ways to make it happen. The radiographer was equally friendly and professional and made me feel valued and well taken care of. Our NHS is amazing - fight for it, support it, and above all else, cherish these angels that walk the corridors of our hospitals. Thank you, ladies, for all your kindness today.
