Wanted to give huge recognition to the amazing NHS Fife Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy. I was there recently with a close relative who was getting their assessments before planned surgery. I genuinely cannot praise the staff highly enough, two departments were magnificent as well as the new Orthopaedic building based there (Fife National Treatment Centre for orthopaedics). I also visited the NHS run Dining Room cafe, outside the hospital further up, while I waited on them. Both staff and service superb.
Every single NHS member of staff had a smile as they walked past whilst I was there, helped when I asked for it and chatted while standing. Be they Auxiliary, Nurses, Consultants, Porters, Cleaners, Cafe Staff or security they truly did themselves proud. I know they are under incredible strain but not once in any visit I have had over the past 6 or 7 years have they fell short of superb.
Thank you NHS Scotland, you are wonderful ❤️🏴
