"The care I received was nothing short of fantastic"

I was admitted to 2 West recently and was very unwell with an infection which was a very scary experience as I had just given birth one week before ago. 

The care I received as an inpatient was nothing short of fantastic. I would like to say a very special thank you to Midwife Jeni, your kindness and compassion was so appreciated. Also to Victoria who helped me to take care of my baby when I was in a lot of pain showing so much empathy. You are both an absolute credit to Midwifery and the Nursing profession in general. I would also like to thank the wonderful health care assistant Alanna who went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and pain free. 

Lastly thanks to Dr Anyogy who performed my surgical procedure. Everything was carefully explained to me both before and after the procedure with check ins to see how I was which was much appreciated.

Everyone talks about the NHS being on its knees so I think it's very important to shine a light on excellent practice.
