"Nothing but amazing and supportive"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Early Pregnancy Clinic

(as a service user),

I have been regularly attending the EPU due to 3 miscarriages within 2 1/2 years. The girls have been nothing but amazing and supportive with providing me with contact details for bereavement support, and getting to the bottom of what is potentially the cause of my miscarriages. I was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome, and now although I am unsure of how my pregnancies will progress in the future I am glad to know I have the support of the team in EPU.

Throughout my blood testing etc while I had to bring my toddler with me they were so patient and attentive to him as well as myself.

Would never have gotten through the last 2 1/2 years without the support from the EPU.

Dear AosMum,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback about the EPU staff.

This has clearly been a very difficult time for you and I am heartened to know that the nurses within the team have been a source of support and delivered compassionate care to you.

We do strive for excellence in all aspects of care given and we value your words very much.

I wish you well for the future ahead.

Take care,

Pauline
